Why Is Arshad Ayub Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Tun Arshad bin Ayub was a Malaysian academician and educator. He was a founding father of the Universiti Teknologi MARA , Malaysia's largest higher learning institution, where he was its director from 1967 to 1975, later served as its Pro-Chancellor from 2000 until his death in 2022. He was widely known as the national education icon.
