He studied chemistry at the University of Geneva . In 1908 he became a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Physics at Grenoble University. He taught in Plovdiv, and in Munich . He edited the magazines "Chemistry and Industry" and "Nature and Science" and the libraries "Naturfilosophical Reading" and "Science and Life".
