Panagiotopoulos is currently the Susan Dod Brown Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of Princeton University. Education and academic career Prof. Panagiotopoulos received his undergraduate degree from the National Technical University of Athens in 1982 and a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1986, both in Chemical Engineering. He was a postdoctoral fellow in physical chemistry at the University of Oxford and a faculty member at Cornell University and the Institute for Physical Science and Technology of the University of Maryland .
