According to Wikipedia, William Coleman Hartman, Jr. was an American football running back in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins before World War II. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1937 with a B.S., where he was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. Hartman was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1984 and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in 1981.
