W. R. McPhee, was a Canadian singer and arts administrator. He worked for 19 years as the head of the Calgary Opera.Career McPhee began his career as a baritone performing in theatre, opera, radio and television after graduating from the University of Manitoba. He then studied arts administration at Grant MacEwan University, The Banff Centre School of Management and Stanford University.
