Why Is Brian Holden-Reid Influential?

Career Holden-Reid studied at University of Hull, University of Sussex and University of London. He taught at Polytechnic of North London and City University London. In 1982 he joined King's College London and the Department of War Studies, KCL. He was appointed lecturer in 1987, to senior lecturer in 1992 and to chair in 2000. He served as Head of the Department of War Studies 2001–2007, and in 2007 he was awarded the Fellowship of King's College , the highest honour the college can award its alumni and staff. He was also a member of the College Council 2010–2019.
