Why Is Conrad Laar Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Conrad Peter Laar was a German chemist. He coined the expression tautomerism in 1885. He also observed the double bond rule in 1885, stating elements with a principal quantum number greater than 2 for their valence electrons tend not to form multiple bonds.
