Why Is Daniel Oro Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Daniel Oro is a Spanish ecologist working as Professor of Research at CEAB-CSIC. Career Daniel Oro received his biology degree from the University of Barcelona in 1986, and his doctorate in biology from the same University in 1996. After his PhD, he completed post-doc research stays at CEFE-CNRS and University of Glasgow . During 2000-2016, he served as Professor at IMEDEA CSIC-University of the Balearic Islands, where he founded the Population Ecology Group. His research interests are in animal demography and population dynamics, as well as behavioural processes in social species.
