Early life Born in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa, Dyzenhaus was educated at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he studied for his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees. He attained a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Oxford.
