Why Is Donald Allan Darling Influential?
(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Donald Allan Darling was an American statistician, known for the Anderson–Darling test. Darling was born in 1915 in Los Angeles. In 1934 Darling began his undergraduate study at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics in 1939. In 1940 he became a meteorologist at Pan American Airways and from 1942 to 1946, during World War II, he headed the statistics department of the Air Force Weather Research Project.
