Why Is Edward D. Goldberg Influential?
(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Edward David Goldberg was a marine chemist, known for his studies of pollution in the oceans. Biography Goldberg was born on August 2, 1921, in Sacramento, California. He received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley in 1942, and then, after serving in the Navy during World War II, did his graduate studies under the supervision of Harrison Brown at the University of Chicago, where he received his Ph.D. in chemistry in 1949. For the rest of his life, he worked as a professor of chemistry at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. He died March 7, 2008, in Encinitas, California.
