Biography Keedy was born in Boonsboro, Maryland, to Reuben Miller and Anne Elizabeth Keedy. His early education was in the public schools in Hagerstown, Maryland. He received an A.B. from Franklin & Marshall College in 1899, and an LL.B. from Harvard Law School in 1906.
