Why Is Else Mundal Influential?
(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Else Olaug Mundal is a Norwegian philologist. She was born in Vanylven and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1971. She was appointed as a docent in Norse philology at the University of Oslo in 1977. Being promoted to professor in 1985, she was a professor at the University of Bergen from 1994. She is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. In 2017 she was appointed a knight of the Icelandic Order of the Falcon in connection with the state visit of Iceland's president to Norway.
