She directs the Computational Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Professional history Provost received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Tufts University in 2004, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA in 2007 and 2010, respectively. After postdoctoral research in the Signal Analysis and Interpretation Lab at the University of Southern California, Provost joined the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University of Michigan in 2012.
