Why Is Erik Arup Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Erik Ipsen Arup was a Danish historian and educator. He was most known as the pioneer of radical-liberal history writing in Denmark. Biography Arup was born at Slangerup in Frederikssund Municipality, Denmark. He was the son of the physician Peter Michael Christian Arup and Malvina Cathrine Ipsen . He was raised in a cultured home and was the cousin of Danish-English structural engineer Ove Arup . He was educated as both a theologian and a historian. Arup attended the University of Copenhagen and was awarded his dr.phil. in 1907.
