According to Wikipedia, Frederic "Freddie" Stanley Dunn was an American scholar of classical studies on the faculty of the University of Oregon , and a Ku Klux Klan leader. Early life and education Born in Eugene, Oregon, on August 3, 1872, Dunn was the son of Francis Berrian Dunn and Christiann Cecilia Dunn. He was on the roll of honor in 1879 for being "neither absent nor tardy during the month." He received A.B. degrees from UO and Harvard University ; he earned A.M. degrees from UO and Harvard .
