Edwards worked in the British Museum which contains his collections made on his expeditions to Norway and Sweden , Switzerland and Austria , Argentina and Chile , with Raymond Corbett Shannon, Corsica and USA , the Baltic , Kenya and Uganda , with Ernest Gibbins, and the Pyrenees . He was able to oversee publication of Alwyn M. Evan's monograph on The Mosquitoes of the Ethiopian Region after her death in 1937.
