According to Wikipedia, George Marshall Cohen was an American painter and art professor. He was a member of the Chicago-based Monster Roster group of artists and taught art at Northwestern University. Early life and education Cohen was born on August 4, 1919, in Chicago. He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he was awarded the Isaacs Scholarship in 1938–1939 and the Coolbaugh Scholarship in 1939–1940. He also served as the President of the Art Students League of New York in 1940.
