Hill is also known for directing The World of Henry Orient , Hawaii , Thoroughly Modern Millie , Slaughterhouse-Five , The Great Waldo Pepper , Slap Shot , A Little Romance , The World According to Garp and his final film Funny Farm . According to one obituary "few directors achieved such fame and success... even fewer enjoyed such eminence for such a short period of time."
