He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines. Robinson was an all-state high school basketball player for Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana. He was drafted 40th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2014 NBA draft. Robinson won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2017. He is the son of Glenn Robinson, the 1994 first overall NBA draft pick.
