(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Grigory Alekseyevich Yavlinsky is a Russian economist and politician. Serving as Deputy Premier of the Russian SFSR and later the entire Soviet Union, Yavlinsky authored the 500 Days Program, a plan for the transition of the Soviet economy to a free-market one. After the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, he created the Yabloko party, which has advocated for a centrist alternative to the right-wing economic policies of President Boris Yeltsin. Between 1994 and 2003, he led his party in the State Duma.
