(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Harold Leonard Nieburg was an American political scientist, best known for his influential book on the military-industrial complex, In the Name of Science. Born in 1927 in Philadelphia, he attended the University of Chicago, earning a Ph. B. , A.M. , and Ph.D. in political science. He served briefly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, reaching the rank of corporal, and as a reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer and for the Chicago Sun-Times. Later he taught at Illinois State University, Case Institute of Technology, and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee before accepting a position at Binghamton University in 1970. He retired in 1995 to the Ft. Myers, Florida region.
