Why Is Li Khai-kam Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Johnny Li Khai-kam is a two-time Hong Kong Olympic swimmer in the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics. In 1981, he set the Hong Kong age group record for 14-year-olds in the 100 metres freestyle at British Swimming's Age Group Championships, a record which stood until 2005 when it was broken by Geoffrey Cheah.
