Coico was the twelfth president of City College of New York, from August 2010 until October 2016. A graduate of Brooklyn College 1976, Coico became the first City University of New York alumna appointed to head the City College of New York. Coico resigned on October 7, 2016, amidst federal and state investigations into her finances.
