Why Is Michael Graham Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Michael Graham CMG OBE was a British fisheries scientist, author, and ecologist. He was the director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food fisheries laboratory in Lowestoft , now known as the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science . His classic book, The Fish Gate, published in 1943, paints a picture of the near-collapse of the British fishing industry through overfishing that occurred before both the First and the Second World Wars.
