According to Wikipedia, Michael P. Brenner is an American applied mathematician and physicist. Biography Brenner earned a bachelor's of science degree in physics and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a doctorate in physics under Leo Kadanoff at the University of Chicago. From 1995-2001, he was an assistant and associate professor of applied mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since 2001, he has been a professor at Harvard University. Within the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University, Brenner is the Michael F. Cronin Professor of Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics, while at the Department of Physics, he holds the Glover Professorship.
