Tomczak played quarterback for several National Football League teams from 1985 through 1999, including the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League until 2014 when they ceased operations. Tomczak is considered to be the most successful NFL quarterback to play most of his college career at Ohio State University.
