He is a professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware. Morrison studies comparative politics and American politics, and has published books and articles on the Civil Rights Movement and its effects on the next several decades of American politics, including a biography of Mississippi NAACP leader Aaron Henry. He also specializes in the politics of Ghana.
