According to Wikipedia, Nasrollah Hekmat is an Iranian philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at the Shahid Beheshti University. He first went to hawza and got the highest degree of Islamic studies. But in 1980, he came out from hawza and began to study philosophy. Finally, in 1994 Hekmat got his Ph.D. in Western Philosophy.
