According to Wikipedia, is a former Japanese track athlete and current university professor and coach at Juntendo University in Chiba, Japan. Athletics Koikawa competed for Japan in the 1990 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aix-les-Bains, finishing 14th with a time of 14:39, in the 1991 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Antwerp, finishing 19th with a time of 14:56 and in the 10,000 metres at the Buffalo Universiade in Buffalo, NY, on July 15, 1993 finishing with a time of 33:01.81.
