Hawley earlier worked on the television series Bones , The Unusuals , and My Generation , and wrote the film The Alibi . He also wrote and directed Lucy in the Sky . He is set to create a new television series based on the Alien film franchise. In addition to his work in film and television, Hawley has written six novels.
