According to Wikipedia, Paul Dutton Grannis is an American physicist. Grannis received the B. Eng. Phys., with Distinction, from Cornell University in 1961 and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in 1965 under the supervision of Owen Chamberlain with thesis Measurement of the Polarization Parameter in Proton-Proton Scattering from 1.7 to 6.1 BeV. Since 1966 Grannis has been at Stony Brook University . He has been a visiting scientist at CERN , Brookhaven National Laboratory, Fermilab, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, University College London and Imperial College London.
