According to Wikipedia, Richard Stanislaus Joseph Frackowiak, born 26 March 1950 in London, is a British and French neurologist and neuroscientist. He is best known for his role in the development of neuroimaging, as the founding director of the Functional Imaging Laboratory at University College London and as one of the initiators, in 2013, of the Human Brain Project , a ten-year European project coordinated by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne with the goal of advancing knowledge in the fields of neuroscience, computing and brain-related medicine.
