According to Wikipedia, Robert Brendan Murrett is an American academic, intelligence officer, and retired Vice Admiral in the United States Navy. He was the fourth Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, serving from July 2006 through July 2010. In 2011, Murrett joined the Institute for Security Policy and Law at Syracuse University where he now serves as deputy director. He is also a faculty member at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and serves on the Institute for Veterans and Military Families advisory board at Syracuse University.
