Life Kemmler-Sack did her doctorate on "Untersuchungen an ternären Uran oxiden" in 1962. She habilitated in 1968 and the title of her habilitation thesis was "Über spektroskopische und magnetische Untersuchungen an Oxidfluoriden es fünfwertien Urans" .
