(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, Stanisław Srokowski is a Polish writer, poet, dramatist, literary critic, translator, academic teacher and publicist. Life He was born on 29 June 1936 in Hnilcze . In 1945, after the expulsion from the Eastern Borderlands, he and his family settled in Mieszkowice, Western Poland. He graduated from high school in 1955. He was subsequently expelled from the Higher School of Diplomatic Service on the grounds of his church attendance and the refusal to join the Polish United Workers' Party , the Communist party which governed the Polish People's Republic. Between 1955 and 1956, he worked as a teacher in Zielin.
