Lehnstaedt received his doctor title in 2008 from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and in 2016 a habilitation from Technical University Chemnitz. Prior to joining Touro, he has lectured at Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich, the Humboldt University Berlin, and the London School of Economics.
