According to Wikipedia, Thomas David "Tim" Foley was an American professional football player who was a defensive back for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League . Foley starred at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, before playing college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, receiving All-American honors as a defensive back in 1969. He then played 11 seasons in the NFL, all of which were with the Dolphins. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1979.
