Tebow played college football for the Florida Gators and became the first underclassman to win the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He was a key contributor to two BCS National Championship teams at Florida and was named the MVP of the 2009 BCS National Championship Game. As a dual-threat quarterback, Tebow broke numerous passing and rushing records during his collegiate career, among them Southeastern Conference career records for highest passing efficiency rating and most rushing touchdowns and the NCAA record for most consecutive games in which he both passed and rushed for a touchdown.
