Why Is Uriel Molina Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Father Uriel Molina is one of the most prominent leaders of the liberation theology-oriented "popular church" in Sandinista-era Nicaragua. In Molina's personal memoirs, he analyzes the connection between the impact of the revolution and the integral part that the Catholic Church and the beliefs of the people played in its successes and failures.
