He was appointed Chair of the Department of Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology and Allied Sciences , Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences , and Chair of the Institutional Review Board . He also served as the director and founder of the school's Bachelor of Science Program in Toxicology , the first program of its kind in the U.S.
