Why Is William V. Harris Influential?
(Suggest an Edit or Addition)According to Wikipedia, William Vernon Harris was the William R. Shepherd Professor of History at Columbia University until December 2017. He is the author of numerous groundbreaking monographs on the Greco-Roman world, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, and he was awarded the Distinguished Achievement Award by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in 2008.
