Why Is Yehia El-Gamal Influential?

According to Wikipedia, Yehia El-Gamal was an Egyptian Professor of Pediatrics, Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Unit, and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Children's Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Cairo, Egypt. He established the first specialized unit of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology in Egypt in February 1988, and was president of the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology which he founded in 2002, and editor-in-chief of the Egyptian Journal of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology.
