According to Wikipedia, The State Agrarian University of Moldova was a university located in Chișinău, Moldova. It was founded in 1933 and dissolved in 2023. Organization The State Agrarian University of Moldova is the only higher agricultural education institution in the Republic of Moldova and the first higher education institution founded in Chișinău. SAUM has a history that began on 9 April 1933, when King Carol II of Romania promulgated the Law concerning the transformation of Agricultural Sciences Section of the University of Iași into the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences with its center in Chișinău. In 1938, the institution was renamed the Faculty of Agronomy and became administratively part of the newly established Gheorghe Asachi Polytechnic School.
