It was founded in 1965 by its Roshei HaYeshiva - Rabbi Chaim Bressler and Rabbi Yaakov Schnaidman, disciples of the late Rabbi Aaron Kotler, founder and Rosh HaYeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, New Jersey.
