Founded by Henry Solomon Lehr in 1871, ONU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It offers over 60 programs to choose from across five colleges: arts & sciences, business, engineering, pharmacy, and law. It is one of only four universities in Ohio to have both a pharmacy school and a law school, along with Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Toledo.
