Founded by the Society of Mary in 1852, St. Mary’s is the oldest Catholic university in Texas and the American Southwest. With a student population of nearly 4,000, St. Mary’s is home to a College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; School of Science, Engineering and Technology; the Greehey School of Business; and the St. Mary’s University School of Law.
