Hariri’s father was Lebanese businessman Rafik Hariri, whose fortune she and her four siblings inherited after his death in 2005. Hariri’s half brother Saad was the prime minister of Lebanon from 2009 to 2011 and again from 2016-2020.
Hariri is married to Mohammad Anas Al Karout with whom she shares two children: Mohammad (born in 2010) and Rafik (born in 2011).
Hariri graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2006.
Hariri was at the center of a decision to relocate Lycée Abdel Kader School in 2018. This move was protested by parents and students of the school.
