According to Wikipedia, James William Buffett was an American musician and singer-songwriter. He was best known for his tropical rock music, which often portrayed a lifestyle described as "island escapism" and promoted enjoying life and following passions. Buffett recorded hit songs known as "The Big 8": "Margaritaville" , which is ranked 234th on the Recording Industry Association of America's list of "Songs of the Century"; "Come Monday" ; "Fins" ; "Volcano" ; "A Pirate Looks at Forty" ; "Cheeseburger in Paradise" ; "Why Don't We Get Drunk" ; and "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes" . His other popular songs include "Son of a Son of a Sailor" , "One Particular Harbour" , and "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" with Alan Jackson . He formed the Coral Reefer Band in 1975.
