Susan Sherman is an American poet, playwright, and the founder of IKON magazine. Career Sherman's work is connected to the Women's Liberation Movement in the 1970s and 1980s. She is a self-proclaimed radical poet. Her poem Lilith of the Wildwood, of the Fair Places depicts Lilith as an outlaw figure. In addition to writing poetry, plays, and articles, she also was a cultural organizer and worked as a poetry editor at The Nation, The Village Voice, and IKON magazine.
